ABOUT US

Our story started in January 2013 when our founder, Meribeth   Broadway, became interested in assisting the efforts of Search and   Rescue and Police K9s. After her own dogs were unable to qualify   for Search and Rescue certification due to health concerns,   Meribeth  combined her passion for supporting working dogs with     her background in canine training and veterinary experience. She   discovered that handlers of working and service dogs receive no   support or funding for the expensive equipment and gear necessary   to carry out their duties. Meribeth seized the opportunity to support   the working and service dog community to acquire the proper   resources necessary for their protection.

OUR MISSION

We are a registered 501(3)c organization whose purpose is to support working and service dogs. The classes of animals we support are police, military, search and rescue, therapy, and service. We provide equipment, funds, training and resources for working and service dogs and their handlers.

SEARCH & RESCUE DOGS

We help fund the purchase of GPS tracking collars, Cooling Vests, MukLuks (foot protective booties), and helps fund search and rescue teams during times of crisis.

POLICE K-9 DOGS

We purchase or assist in the purchase of equipment for the Police K-9: - Police K-9 Kevlar (Bullet Proof) Vests - Police K-9 kennels - Pop lock systems for the Police K-9 vehicle - Even treats and reward toys for the Police K-9.

THERAPY DOGS

Many of our board members are Certified Animal Trainers and will assist in the training of therapy dogs or therapy animals. We also educate the public about the use of therapy dogs and therapy animals in various situations.

MILITARY K-9 DOGS

We ship toys, treats, training and reward items as well as beds and hygiene items to the Military K-9s that are in combat overseas.

OUR IMPACT

We aim to support all forms of working and service dogs. Many of   these dogs are owned and handled by individuals who have no   means of fundraising for equipment and other resources necessary   for the duties which they perform. These handlers give their time   and  effort to help others. We aid these canine and handler teams in   acquiring the necessary gear through fundraising, education and   other means.
